Today I found a great web resource for bilingual teachers, ESL teachers, general education teachers, as well as parents and students who frequently require an online English dictionary when writing. In my personal experience, it’s gotten to the point that sometimes when I am writing a blog post  I tend to turn to the web when I need to know how to spell a word in English as opposed to using a regular dictionary. I can only imagine how one day the regular dictionary will be obsolete as the world becomes more and more digitalized!

Bee English Dictionary is a free online dictionary that can be used at home as well as in classrooms when the need arises to look up a frequently misspelled word. The online dictionary has over 300, 000 words and phrases that can be looked up as well as audio pronunciation, synonyms and antonyms. In addition, the site has a daily crossword puzzle and a section for common errors in English. One additional benefit is that the site can be accessed on your iphone (if you have one!).
