Last year we made the list of Lexiophile’s Top 100 Language Blogs of 2010 and were ecstatic about it. We’ve luckily been nominated again for the 2011 awards, and we’ll let you know when the voting begins because we would really love to make the list again!

This year Lexiophiles is changing up the contest a bit and instead of “Top 100 Language Blogs” they have changed it to “Top 100 Language Lovers” because they also want to recognize facebook and twitter pages that are language related. Head on over there and nominate your favorite blog, facebook page, or twitter account who blogs about language-related issues. You can even nominate yourself if you fit the profile!

This is an excellent way to cross-promote language blogs. It’s such a necessary thing to do, considering that the world is full of misinformation about language learning and multilingualism! When the time comes, we would really appreciate a vote from our readers for the competition. We will definitely keep you updated!!
