in Bilingual Education, Policy

I found a video on youtube about Proposition 227, the anti-bilingual initiative in the late 90s that was designed to restrict bilingual education programs in California. The law seriously impacted bilingual education programs throughout the state. It’s important to remember though that bilingual education in California is not against the law, and parents may request a parental exception waiver to participate in bilingual education programs.
